Terms and Conditions
By using Cosmic Match you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Cosmic Match is operated by Good Life. "We" and "us" in this document mean Good Life; "the app" means Cosmic Match on any platform it is published on.
Rules to follow says the same things as the Behaviour section below, in ordinary words and with the consequence attached to each one, and Ban guidelines explains what ends an account and how to appeal. This document is the binding version; those pages are the readable ones, and the three are kept in step.
Who can use Cosmic Match
You must be 18 or older. You must be legally allowed to use a dating service where you live. One account per person. The app is offered in India.
Your account
You sign up with your phone number and verify it with a one-time code. You may add an email address afterwards as a second way to sign in. There is no password, so keep access to that number and mailbox secure — whoever can receive the code can reach the account.
Your phone number cannot be changed after sign-up. It is the identity the account is built on.
You are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us at care@cosmicmatch.in if you think someone else has access to it.
What you post
You keep ownership of your photos, your voice notes and the text you write. You give us permission to store and display them inside the app so it can work — for example, showing your photo to someone you are introduced to, or delivering a voice note to the person you sent it to. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
Only upload photos you have the right to use, and that show you.
Photos are screened automatically
Every photo you upload is scanned before any other user can see it. A photo may be hidden pending review, removed, or — where it shows explicit content at high confidence — result in your account being closed without prior notice. You can ask a person to review any automated decision by writing to care@cosmicmatch.in
Words are checked automatically
Your name, bio and typed prompt answers, when you change them, and every message you type are checked against a list of words our community guidelines don't allow. A profile change that matches is refused. A message that matches is still delivered once you confirm it, marked for the person who receives it, and for sexual content, harassment, hate or self-harm, reported to a moderator. The Privacy policy says what is kept.
Behaviour
Do not use Cosmic Match to:
- Impersonate anyone, or post photos of someone else as yourself
- Harass, threaten, abuse or intimidate another person, or continue contacting someone who has stopped responding
- Send sexual or graphic content that was not invited
- Post sexual content involving minors, or anything illegal
- Solicit money in any form, run scams, promote investments, advertise, sell or recruit
- Scrape, automate, reverse engineer, or otherwise access the service other than through the app as published
- Attempt to obtain features, allowances or a paid tier you have not paid for
- Share another person's private information, or publish their messages, photos or voice notes outside the app
- Create a new account after we have closed one of yours
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users: such content is removed, and the accounts responsible are banned.
We can suspend or remove an account that breaks these rules, without notice where the behaviour is serious.
Verification
Verification is optional. The tick indicates that a live face check was passed and matched the photos on that profile at the time it ran. It is not an identity check, a background check or a guarantee about a person, and it must not be relied on as one. It is granted and withdrawn automatically, and a moderator may grant or remove it. It cannot be purchased and no paid tier includes it.
Paid tiers
Pro and Elite are optional. The price of each tier, how long it lasts, and what it includes are shown in the app at the point of purchase, and those are the terms that apply to your purchase. Any description of a tier on this website or in any other marketing material is a summary and is not an offer — where it disagrees with the app, the app is correct.
Pricing, duration and the allowances attached to a tier — how many introductions a day, when the first one arrives, which filters are included — may change. A change does not alter what you have already bought on the terms you bought it under.
Payment is taken by Google Play on Android and by the App Store on iOS. We never receive your card, UPI or bank details, and we do not keep a payment instrument on file. The price you pay is the one shown in the app, on the store's purchase sheet, at the time of purchase. How cancelling and refunds work is set out in Refunds and cancellations, which forms part of these terms.
A tier is attached to your account and is not transferable. Deleting your account ends it, and nothing is refunded on deletion. If a payment is taken and the tier is not granted, write to care@cosmicmatch.in and we will fix it or refund it. If your account is closed for breaking these terms, no refund is due.
Meeting people
Cosmic Match introduces people; it does not vet them. We do not run background checks, criminal record checks or identity document checks on users. Automatic photo screening and face verification reduce risk; they do not make a stranger safe. Take normal precautions: meet in public the first time, tell someone where you are going, and travel independently. You are responsible for your own safety. Safety has the full guidance.
Aura and astrology
Aura is an AI. An AI model reads your profile and the messages you type so that Aura can get to know you, and from that, your stars and how people use the app, Aura chooses who you are introduced to. Aura also shows short lines about you and your matches, most of them chosen from lines we wrote in advance; the note in Aura noticed something is written by the AI. Aura can be wrong. An introduction, and anything Aura says about you or anyone else, is not advice, not a prediction, and not a statement about any real person's character or suitability. How Aura reads your profile and your messages is set out in the Privacy policy.
Compatibility scores are generated from your birth details for entertainment. They are not advice, not a prediction, and not a statement about any real person's character or suitability. Treat them as a conversation starter. The method is a modern compatibility model using Western tropical placements; it is expressly not Vedic astrology and not a kundli match.
Availability
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service. We try to avoid losing your data, but we do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and it is provided as-is. Features described on this website may change before or after release.
Ending things
You can stop using Cosmic Match and delete your account at any time, from inside the app — see Delete your account. We may close an account that breaks these terms.
Where we close an account, the email address and phone number associated with it may be blocked from creating a new one, and that block is kept separately from the account so that deleting the account does not lift it. To appeal, write to care@cosmicmatch.in — how appeals work.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms materially we will update the date above and let you know in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
