Delete your account
You can delete your Cosmic Match account and everything stored with it at any time. You do not need to give a reason.
How to request deletion
- Email info@cosmicmatch.in from the email address you use to sign in, with the subject Delete my account.
- We confirm the request came from that address.
- We delete the account and reply to confirm. We aim to do this within 7 days.
Sending from your sign-in address is what proves the account is yours — it is the only identifier we hold.
What gets deleted
Everything tied to your account is removed permanently:
- Your login and email address
- Your profile — name, gender and preference, bio, birth date, birth time and birth city
- Your calculated Sun, Moon and Rising signs
- All of your photos, including the stored image files
- Every like and pass you made
- All of your matches
- All messages you sent, removed from those conversations
- Your read/unread state
Nothing is retained in a recoverable form and there is no hidden grace period. We do not keep a shadow profile.
This cannot be undone. Deleting your account does not deactivate or pause it — the data is gone. If you sign up again later you will start from scratch, with a new profile and no previous matches or conversations.
If you only want to change something
You do not have to delete your account to fix your details. Birth data, bio, photos and preferences can all be edited in the app, or we can correct them for you — write to info@cosmicmatch.in.
Deleting in-app
In-app account deletion is being added. Until it ships, the email route above is the supported way to delete your account, and it deletes exactly the same data.
