The other five are decided by your Moon and your Rising — the two almost nobody knows — and they move the number more than the Sun does. The app reads all three, from both birth charts, and shows the ten side by side.

Is this the same score the app gives?
The arithmetic is the same and it is computed in the same place — this page asks our engine for the number rather than working one out of its own. What differs is the input: here it is two Sun signs, and in the app it is two whole birth charts, so the app's number is the better informed of the two.
Do I need to know my birth time?
Not for this page — a Sun sign is a date, and a date is all it asks for. Your birth time is what places your Moon and your Rising, which is why the app asks for it and this page does not.
Can I send someone the result?
Yes. Every pair has its own address, so the share button hands over a link that opens on exactly the reading you are looking at. Nothing about you is attached to it, and we do not record who asked.
